Senior Adult Expert Panels

As part of United Way of Hall County’s continual effort to create venues for connection and to provide valuable free resources, we have partnered with experts in a variety of fields from across the Gainesville-Hall County community to nurture and facilitate meaningful conversations. This virtual three-part series provides senior adults and their caregivers tangible information to navigate the mental health implications associated with COVID-19 and the effects of long-term sheltering in place.

Safely Navigating COVID-19 – Balancing mental and physical wellbeing while social distancing

Families are having discussions every day about COVID-19, especially in regard to keeping our senior adults safe. Hear from our panel of medical experts as they address common questions they receive from their patients as they relate balancing safety and human connection, maintaining mental wellbeing during an isolated time, coping with fear of the virus, social distancing fatigue, and weighing how to make the best decisions to keep you and your loved ones safe.
