The Board of Directors is dependent upon these volunteer committees to ensure the organizational integrity of United Way for Lumpkin County.

Executive Committee supervises the business of the organization between meetings of the Board of Directors. It is comprised of officers and select committee chairs.

Community Building Committee reviews and allocates agency investment requests for funding.

Finance Committee creates and monitors annual budget, reviews monthly financial statements and reports to Board. Assures adherence to all financial policies and procedures and safeguards the assets of the organization.

Governance & Personnel Committee sets, reviews and recommends changes to personnel policies and advises the President on any personnel issues.  They also work to identify, recruit and train new board members.

Marketing & Communications Committee develops and implements a comprehensive marketing plan designed to inform and educate the community about the mission, activities, goals and accomplishments of the organization.

Resource Development Committee (also known as the Campaign Cabinet) organizes, prepares and conducts the annual fundraising campaign.
