Crisis Intervention

The outcome goals for focusing on Crisis Intervention are to assist people in meeting basic needs and provide support for individuals or families in crisis.

What We Know *

  • Highest number of calls that 2-1-1 receives is for rent/utility assistance.
  • Hall County ranks 83 of 159 counties in number of children living in families where no parent is in the labor force.
  • Down turn in economic conditions causes escalation in need for crisis intervention services.

Indicators *

  • Number of clients served reported by partner agencies providing crisis services.
  • Number of referrals 2-1-1 makes to crisis service providers.
  • Number of substantiated cases of child abuse and neglect continues to decline.
