Criteria for FundingPartner Agencies and Community Partners are expected to meet established criteria. They commit to partner with United Way to improve lives in Hall County. To be considered for funding, agencies or their programs must align with one or more of the focus areas of Children & Health, Crisis Intervention, Self-Sufficiency, and Health.
Partner Agencies and Community Partners have different criteria for funding and are funded by two separate processes.
Criteria for Community Partners
We welcome new relationships. Becoming a community partner is the entry point for establishing a funding relationship with United Way of Hall County. Funding is made from the Community Partner pool only.
Basic Funding Criteria- Aligns with United Way of Hall County's mission and one or more focus areas
- Is outcome focused through tracking and evaluation
- Has an IRS tax exempt fiscal agent
- Provides health and human service regardless of ability to pay
- Has an independent active/rotating governing body of at least 7 voting members who are not related
- Has organizational by-laws and policies that meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements
- Submit a completed application
- May apply for a maximum of two 2-year community investment cycles
Benefits of Partnership- Identification and promotion with United Way of Hall County
- Eligible to apply as partner agency after first or second community investment cycle
Criteria for Partner AgenciesWe value our long term relationships. Our Partner Agencies go through a rigorous evaluation process on a bi-annual basis to ensure continued alignment and their outcomes are improving lives in Hall County.
Basic Funding Criteria- Aligns with United Way of Hall County's mission and one or more focus areas
- Is outcome focused through tracking and evaluations
- Provides health and human services regardless of ability to pay
- Is incorporated
- Is a 501(c)(3)
- Minimum 2 years in operation
- Has an independent active/rotating governing body of at least 7 voting members who are not related
- Has organizational by-laws and policies that meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements
- Sign and adhere to the requirements and responsibilities in the Partner Agency Agreement
Benefits of Partnership- Identification and promotion with United Way of Hall County
- Priority in funding through the Partner Agency funding pool
- Eligible to apply for Community Partner funding pool
- Training opportunities for organization, staff, and volunteers
- Representation on United Way of Hall County Board of Directors
- Quarterly Agency Roundtable with United Way President
