Description: Volunteer is screened, trained and supervised to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children requiring court intervention.   Abused children are at greater risk for juvenile delinquency, substance abuse, poor school performance, and teenage pregnancy. Your United Way contribution helped provide 560 abused and neglected children trained, screened and supervised community volunteers to advocate their for best interest this year.
